The 2x EX DG is placed between the lens and the camera, and it allows the photographer to use the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens as a 140-400mm f/5.6 telephoto zoom lens, and the 300mm f/2.8 lens as a 600mm f/5.6 ultra telephoto lens.

Note: Sigma APO Tele Converter 1.4x and 2x are dedicated teleconverter lenses. Due to the high optical quality of this teleconverter, this item will only fit and work with a select list of lenses.
